Andonox® SHP - 10

Chemical Name: 
acetylacetone peroxide + peroxyester peroxide blend

Andonox® SHP - 10 is a clear to pale yellow liquid of a peroxide formulation based on acetyl acetone peroxide (AAP) and a peroxyester diluted in phlegmatizer.

Application Details: 

In combination with cobalt accelerated resins, Andonox SHP-10 has shown to be an exceptionally good cure system for unsaturated polyesters both at ambient and elevated temperatures. (See Technical Data Sheet)

Andonox® 7030

Chemical Name:

Andonox® 7030 is a mixture of ketone peroxides with dimethyl phthalate as a phlegmatiser.

Application Details: 

Andonox® 7030 is an initiator for the curing of most polyester resins at both room - and elevated temperatures. It is best suited for singly promoted resins using cobalt promotion alone.

Norox® TAPB

Application Details: 

It is an effective medium temperature initiator for the polymerization and/or crosslinking of numerous monomers and resins, including unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins.

Norox® Pulcat® AW

Norox Pulcat AW is a proprietary peroxide solution in phlegmatizer primarily used for cure initiation of unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins in the pultrusion process.

Application Details: 

Norox Pulcat AW can also be used in cobalt promoted resins for ambient temperature cures.

Norox® MEKP - 900

Norox MEKP - 900 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) with a high hydrogen peroxide level that can offer faster gel times at low ambient temperatures in most resin systems.

Application Details: 

Norox MEKP-900 is a specially formulated methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) composition for the room temperature cure of unsaturated polyester resins.

Syrgis Ketone Peroxide Dye Concentrates

Syrgis Performance Initiators Dye Concentrates are available for selected Norox ketone peroxide products to enable the user to ensure that the peroxide cure initiator (“catalyst”) is being uniformly mixed and applied in unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins.  These dye concentrates are available in permanent or fading formulations.

Norox® CHP

Norox® Azox

Norox AZOX is a solution of acetyl acetone peroxide (AAP), or 2, 4-Pentanedione peroxide in a phlegmatizer.

Application Details: 

It is a very effective polymerisation initiator for the room temperature cure of unsaturated polyester resins and gives exceptionally fast cures without significantly affecting gel times in most resin systems.

Norox® 750

Norox 750 is a liquid organic peroxide cure initiator formulated specifically for use with RTM and tooling resins.

Application Details: 

Norox 750 provides uniformity of cure in both thick and thin cross-sections without excessive exotherm resulting in excellent dimensional stability.

Norox® 600

Norox 600 is a free-flowing, white powder consisting of technically pure Di(4-t-Butylcyclohexyl) peroxydicarbonate.

Application Details: 

This cycloaliphatic peroxydicarbonate is used as an initiator (radical source) in the polymerization of monomers, such as vinyl chloride and methacrylates.  It is also widely used in curing unsaturated polyester resins, particularly in pultrusion applications.
