MAXGARD DPA-8 (Octocrylene) is a liquid ultraviolet light (UV) stabilizer which protects plastics and coatings from damaging UV radiation found in sunlight.

Application Details: 

MAXGARD DPA-8 (octocrylene) is a 100% active liquid ultraviolet light (UV) stabilizer with low color, extremely low volatility and that does not react with other additives or pigments. Compatible with all major PVC plasticizers and easily incorporated into liquid systems, DPA-8 (octocrylene) is used to stabilize plastics (like PVC plastisols, plasticized PVC and liquid color formulations), coatings (including polyester gel-coats and inks) and adhesives from the harmful effects of ultraviolet light (UV).

MAXGARD 1000 (benzophenone-2) is an effective ultraviolet light absorber (UV absorber) which acts as a stabilizer for protecting plastics, coatings and cosmetics from ultraviolet light (UV) radiation damage found in sunlight.


 

Application Details: 

MAXGARD 1000 (benzophenone-2) is very compatible with plastic optical lens materials and highly effective as an ultraviolet light absorber (UV screen) for these products. It also provides improved stability in cosmetics and perfumes and improves colors in various applications. MAXGARD 1000 has a very broad ultraviolet light (UV) absorption band which extends into the UV-A range.

Application Details: 

MAXGARD 1800, benzophenone-9, broadly absorbs ultraviolet light (UV) which provides improved product stability in cosmetics, perfumes and hair and personal care products. This UV absorption can also stabilize colors in selected applications. In addition to having a very broad ultraviolet light absorption (UV absorption) band which extends into the UV-B range, MAXGARD 1800 is a water soluble ultraviolet light (UV) absorber.
