Syrgis Performance Initiators produces (manufactures) organic peroxides that, when used in the production of reinforced and cast polymer composites products, initiate the gel and cure of the resin at room and elevated temperatures while increasing their durability.

Syrgis Performance Chemicals (PChem™), a part of the Syrgis group, is headquartered in Latexo, Texas, and has international sales offices in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and Houston, Texas. 

The Houston facility is also home to PChem's applications laboratory, where we develop and customize formulations to meet the wide variety of unique customer process needs around the world.

Andy Harris

Chief Executive Officer

Andy Harris joined Syrgis as Chief Executive Officer in January of 2007. He has 20 years of management experience in specialty chemicals, oil & gas, process instrumentation and environmental equipment companies, including Betz Chemical (now GE Water and Process Technologies), Endress+Hauser GmbH, and Exxon Company USA.
