Documents
MAXGARD 700 (benzophenone-12) is an excellent ultraviolet light (UV) stabilizer for protecting plastics from natural ultraviolet (UV) radiation in sunlight.
Application Details
MAXGARD 700 (benzophenone-12) is an ultraviolet light (UV) stabilizer which provides good compatibility with numerous polymers (including PVC, polypropylene and polyethylene) and inexpensively guards against yellowing. At certain concentrations, it conforms to FDA regulations for additives in polyolefins used in some food packaging applications. In addition to plastics, MAXGARD 700 is used to stabilize coatings, adhesives and sealants from the harmful effects of ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
